Mrs. Cyndi Feinman

Mrs. Cyndi Feinman has been teaching music for over 13 years. Currently, Mrs. Feinman is the chairperson for Division V All-County Mixed Chorus, as well as co-chair for the NY/ACDA (American Choral Directors Association) Middle School Division. She also adjudicates NYSSMA levels 1-6 during NYSSMA season.

Mrs. Feinman received a BA in Music Education from the Aaron Copland School of Music, Queens College and a Masters of Music Education from Boston University. Additionally, Ms. Feinman has received Orff levels from Trevor Day School and Hofstra University and Kodaly levels through the Hartt School of Music in Connecticut. Her studies also include “Music and the Brain training” and World Drumming Level I.

Cyndi Feinman has performed with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra at the Kodak Theater as well as on the stage at Lincoln Center. Mrs. Feinman is a mezzo-soprano and continues to perform professionally. In her spare time she sings in Evoco, a professional chorus under the direction of David Fryling.

Mrs. Feinman has taught chorus and general music in public schools in East Harlem, Rochester, Park Slope, Roslyn Middle School, and now Roslyn High School. Her greatest goal is to bring the joy of music, particularly vocal skills and choral music, to a new generation.
